Pension Tracing Service
If you think you may have an old pension, but are not sure of the details, the Pension Tracing Service can usually help by tracing it for you. It can be easy, for instance, if you have changed jobs a number of times through your working life to have lost contact with a previous employer and their pension scheme. The Pension Tracing Service has access to a database of over 200,000 occupational and personal pension schemes and can be used, free of charge, to search for a scheme. They may be able to provide you with an up-to-date contact address for a pension scheme and you can then use this information to contact the pension provider to pursue any financial entitlement. The Highways Agency has offered a new proposal for improving the junction with the M69 after objections to an earlier plan. The original proposal was to create a flyover that took a link road closer to homes in Leicester Forest East. Two new options would build a link road much closer to junction 21. Test drilling has commenced on Highways Agency land adjacent to the Forest Park on Hinckley Road, Leicester Forest East.
According to a statement issued by Tony Turton Highways Agency in November in which he stated "We have listened to the views of local residents and we are considering all comments. There were no firm plans for the M69 link road when we presented to residents earlier this year. Our aim was to get local feedback to allow us to develop the best options in more detail. This aim has been achieved and we are using that information in the development of the project". If that is the case and we are in fact still in the consulatation phase relating to the M69 link, then why are they undertaking test drilling on the route of the proposed flyover that was highlighted at the last exhibition at the LFE parish hall?
