The
fraudsters will either steal credit cards or numbers from websites and then match
with a delivery address to be sent to. It is naturally assumed that the supplier
will check the card details and the address for a match but this isn't always
the case. Currently fraud of this nature has increased by 38% in the past 12 months
which nets £115 million from the web. However agreement has now been obtained by David Parsons to also have our post code amended to LE9 in the near future. Apparently the only stumbling block at the moment is suitable premises which the Post Office requires to sort the mail. (I really cannot see why this is a requirement) The alteration will also have a big impact on some peoples home and car insurance as the post code is one of the criteria taken into account when assessing the risk. So some good news at last. We will keep you informed of any developments! | ||||
